India started well, but lost two quick wickets

Indian openers Virender Sehwag and Wasim Jaffer started well and added 57 runs for the first wicket on a green top Perth wicket. They negotiated well and batted aggressively. However, they both got out when they looked solid and set. Sehwag scored 29 and Jaffer made 16. At lunch, India were 74/2. Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar were batting at the crease.
