India needs to rethink on Jaffer and Yuvraj

Forget about the bad umpiring or bad sportsmanship of Australian cricketers that triggered India's loss in the Sydney test. That's history now. Now we have to sit and make a self-analysis. India has lost its main pace bowlers Zaheer and Sreesanth due to injury. Harbhajan may face a ban if found guilty of the racial abuse charge levelled against him by Andrew Symonds.

Australians are getting aggressive and dirtier. Umpires support them openly. So, what should be our strategy to deal with the situation? Drop Yuvraj and Jaffer without wasting time. Bring Sehwag in and recall Akash Chopra or Parthiv Patel into the squad. Parthiv Patel will be a better option, as he might be able to replace a fragile Dhoni.

Bring Sreesanth if he is fully fit. Also, we must give a chance to Pankaj Singh who may prove to be a trump card against Australia. If Harbhjan faces test ban, the BCCI must send Murali Karthik to Australia. The BCCI has 10 days to act before India takes on Australia on Perth. It's time we tweak our strategy and take tough decisions in the interest of Indian cricket.
