Hansen to use "New Evidences" in Harbhajan case
Justice John Hansen, who was appointed by the ICC as the Appeals Commissioner to hear racism charges against Harbhajan, has outlined the procedures for the hearing. According to Hansen, the witnesses would attend the hearing in person and they would not be required to give evidence under oath."There may also be some additional evidence, such as the transcript available from the stump microphone, which was not available to (ICC match referee Mike) Procter," Justice Hansen said. The latest "evidences" from stump vision microphone has caused concern within Team India and BCCI.
The BCCI has dismissed any such evidences and demanded the immediate removal of "racist" tag from Harbhajan Singh. If the charges against Harbhajan is upheld, India is likely to pull out of the Australian tour without playing the tri-series.
