Dravid to open again, Sehwag left out

Failing to learn from its failure in Melbourne test, India yet again went into defensive by choosing Dravid to open the innings. Virender Sehwag was left out from the 12-member squad announced by the team management ahead of the Sydney Test.

There is a question mark over Zaheer Khan's availability, as he suffered a muscle pull during net practice. Irafan Pathan will get the nod if Zaheer fails to recover on time.
