Coach Gary Kirsten joins Indian Team in Perth

The Indian cricket team, which has been under tremendous pressure in the wake of recent controversies aftermath Sydney test, got a moral booster coach-designated Gary Kirsten joined the team in Perth. Though Kirsten will formally take over as Coach of Team India from March, he joined the team as a Consultant.

Kirsten had flown from Johannesburg, along with his wife Deborah. After meeting the team, he said that team is high on spirit and all the controversial issues will be sorted out when Indian skipper Anil Kumble meets his Australian counterpart Ricky Ponting on Monday.

Kirsten said he would certainly want the Indian players to play their own brand of cricket on Australian soil. He also expressed confidence that Indians would bounce back into the series. Kirsten's presence is likely to lift Indian team's morale.
