Battle of Perth: India in Command

At the end of third day's play, India established firm control on the Perth test. Chasing a victory target of 413 to win the test and create a world record of 17 consecutive test win, Australia were 65/2 at stumps. They still need 348 runs more with 8 wickets in hand. For India, Irfan PAthan claimed both wickets. The fourth day is expected to produce a great contest between bat and ball, as the Australians were well known for their never-say-die attitude.
