Adam Gilchrist gets a standing ovation at Adelaide
Australia's wicket keeper Adam Gilchrist got a standing ovation at Adelaide when he entered the ground to bat possibly for the last time in his test career. Not only the Australian crowd, but also the entire Indian team gathered in the middle and clapped when Gilchrist took guard. The crowd cheered for every run Gilchrist scored today. When he was caught by Virender Sehwag off Irfan Pathan, none of the Indian players celebrated. Sehwag took the catch, sat on the ground and clapped while Gilchrist walked back to the pavilion. Other Indian players too gave a farewell to the one of the greatest players in the cricket history. Gilchrist made 14 in his last innings. The cricket fans will always miss Gilchrist.
