Vengsarkar relents, to attend Selection Meeting

BCCI President Sharad Pawar's shrewd diplomacy bore fruit, as Chief Selector Dilip Vengsarkar relented and agreed to attend today's selection committee meeting in Bangalore. It seemed that BCCI and Vengsarkar called for truce for the time being. If the reports are to be believed, Vengsarkar would be compensated for the loss he would suffer if he stops writing columns for newspapers.
