Chennai Superstars win the ICL T20 Touranment

Riding on a hattrick by Pakistan pacer Shabeer Ahmed, the Chennai Superstar won the inaugural ICL Twenty30 tournament. They beat Chandigarh Lions by 12 runs in the final at Panchkula. chasing a victory target of 156, the Chandigarh Lions managed to score only 143/8 in 20 overs. The winning team got Rs 3.9 crore, while the runners-up team got Rs 1.9 crore.
