BCCI announces hike in Selectors' allowances

The BCCI has announced a hike in the allowances for selectors after a conflict with Chief Selector Dilip Vengsarkar for few weeks. The selectors' dearness allowance (DA) have been increased from Rs 5000 to Rs 10,000 and their travel allowance (TA) have been increased from Rs 7000 to Rs 10,000. The BCCI also appointed former test cricketer W V Raman as the coach of U-19 cricket team.
