Bangalore Test: India started on a Shaky Note

India took the field in Bangalore test without its star players Sachin Tendulkar, M S Dhoni and Zaheer Khan. Munaf Patel also bowed out because of injury. Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan and Ishant Sharma have been included in the team in place of the injured players.

India won the toss and elected to bat first. India opened with Jaffer and Gambhir. However, Gambhir made an early departure. When reports last came in, India were 24/1 with Jaffer and Dravid at the crease.
