Yuvraj fined for showing Dissent

Yuvraj Singh was fined 20 per cent of his match fee for showing dissent at the umpire's decision after being given out during the fifth and final ODI against Pakistan at Jaipur. The punishment was meted out by ICC match referee Roshan Mahanama following a hearing after the match.

It was Yuvraj's first appearance in disciplinary hearing. According to sources, Yuvraj pleaded not guilty, but apologized for his dissent.

Everyone knew Yuvraj was not out, excepting the umpire.

It is a traversity of justice to fine Yuvraj for indicating it went of his shoulders.

The umpire should be sued for malpractice.
