Shoaib in Chucking Controversy again

Pakistan's fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar yet again found himself in chucking controversy during the second test match in Kolkata. The doubts were raised by Indian team when Shoaib bowled a 150 kmh delivery to shatter Dravid's stumps during the first test match in Delhi. It is learnt that the team has officially complained to BCCI and the latter will take up the issue with the BCCI.

In a significant development, BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah called for a periodic review of all bowlers who were suspected on chucking in the past. However, PCB strongly backed Shoaib, saying he has been cleared by the ICC and has a clean bowling action.
