Rahul Dravid slams Double Century in Ranji Trophy

Rahul Dravid gave a befitting reply to his critics by slamming a timely double century against Mumbai in a Ranji Tophy match. Interstingly, he achieved this feat in Mumbai, home to BCCI President Sharad Pawar and Chief Selector Dilip Vengsarkar. The former Indian captain scored 214 that helped Karnataka declare their second innings on 397/6. Mumbai needed 255 runs in 32 overs to win the match. The match finally ended in a draw.

Dravid was dropped from Indian ODI squad after his poor performance against Australia. That controversial decision sparked off protests and debates both in media and cricket circle with former Indian cricketers openly speaking against Chief Selector Dilip Vengsarkar.
