Pakistan Cricket team arrives in India

Pakistan's cricket team landed in India on a 44-day tour that would involve three test matches and five one-day matches. Captain Shoaib Malik and his team mates were taken to the hotel amidst tight security. Later' Malik and coach Geoff Lawson addressed a press conference. While Malik expressed confidence over his team's performance, Lawson termed India-Pakistan series better than the Ashes. Lawson also added that Pakistan wants to settle a few scores with India.

Pakistan cricket team suffered a jolt, as their main stream bowler Mohammad Asif opted out of the tour due to elbow injury. However, the bowling attack was bolstered with the return of Shoaib Akhtar. The visitors will play Delhi in a warm-up game on Friday.
