India on the verge of Victory in Delhi Test
Wasim Jaffer, Sachin Tendulkar and Saurav Ganguly produced yet another good batting display to prevent India from doing any harakiri and took close to the door of a famous victory in the Delhi test. Chasing a victory target of 203, India were 171/3 at stumps of the third day's play.Saurav Ganguly remains unbeaten on 48, while Sachin Tendulkar is unbeaten on 32. Jaffer made 53, while Dravid contributed 34 to the team total. For Pakistan, Shoaib Akhtar bagged all three wickets. India needs 32 more runs to win the Delhi test.
Sachin Tendulkar achived another milestone, when he surpassed Alan Border's record of 11,174 runs in test cricket. Only Brian Lara has scored more runs than Tendulkar.
