Rest of India beat Mumbai to lift the Irani Trophy
Pace bowler Munaf Patel spearheaded Rest of India to a nine wicket over Mumbai in the final of the Irani Trophy cricket. A devastating five-wicket haul by Munaf helped Rest of India win the coveted title. Chasing a victory target of 88, Rest India took just 18.5 overs to win the match and the trophy. Parthiv Patel who scored a century in the first innings, remained unbeaten on 60 in the second innings. Final Scorecard:
