Sri Lanka showed No Mercy to Kenya
Sri Lanka broke all records of Twenty20 cricket in their opening match against a hapless Kenya. They beat Kenya by 172 runs - a record victory margin in Twenty20. First, they posted the highest ever Twenty20 total of 260-6 from 20 overs. Sanath Jayasuriya made 88 off 44 balls. Mahela Jayawardene hit 65 off 28, and finally Jehan Mubarak smashed an unbeaten 46 from 13 balls in the end.
