Sachin Tendulkar to Retire from ODIs, says Cricinfo

According to Cricinfo website, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar is contemplating retirement from one-day cricket after the home series against Pakistan and Australia later this year. However, he would continue playing Test cricket. The website quoted reliable sources to corroborate its claim.

If we believe the website, Tendulkar was about to announce his retirement on the England tour, however, was persuaded by friends to do so at home. India would play seven ODIs against Australia and five against Pakistan in 2007. A few days ago, he told the Times that one-day cricket was taking the toll on his body. Tendulkar, 34, has been playing cricket for the past 18 years. However, neither Tendulkar nor any cricket officials have confirmed this report.
